View more here.Love on the Download is a visual interpretation of encoded music, and nostalgia.When we purchase music digitally we are without the tactility of a piece of vinyl, a CD, a cassette, or any other physical form of media. Today we purchase an invisible object, listen to a thing we can’t see, and feel something we can not directly touch. Love, or any other feeling for that matter, is something that resides in most humans and can be experienced or expressed in a myriad of ways. The memories associated with these feelings are housed within our minds like the data stored on a device. They can be triggered by smell, vision, sound, taste or touch. These 10 pieces are an attempt to depict various love songs by various artists at several states of ‘download’ and thoughts that a person may associate with them.
